Pet Treats and Supplies
Dog Treats
As well as my dog training sessions, I also sell all-natural, home-made dog treats. Please read through the information below to get a better idea of the types of products I provide.
Treats come in two sizes: 1-inch square training treats and 3-inch bone biscuits. All treats are about 1/4-inch thick and are soft enough for easy chewing and swallowing. The softness also makes them smellier and more flavorful (good for training treats) than if they were hard. The two available flavors are liver and peanut butter. Be sure to check the ingredients below if your pet has allergies and specify allergies when you contact me. Custom recipes are available for certain allergies. Please give me a few days' notice for your order and be aware that, unless ordered in bulk, I do not deliver or ship treats. Arrangements must be made to pick up small orders at my home, work, or at the Cache Valley Gardeners' Market. Treats should be refrigerated and will last up to a month, or indefinitely if stored in a freezer.
To order treats, see my contact me information at the bottom of the page.
**Please do NOT overfeed your pet.** While my recipes are made to be safe for dogs, too much of any dog treat can cause problems. I recommend decreasing the amount of dog food you feed your pet so caloric intake remains the same. Depending on how many treats you feed your pet, this may not be necessary, but can prevent obesity if treats are fed frequently. Finally, I recommend that treats be broken into pea-sized pieces when used for training.**These recipes were made for dogs and should not be consumed by other animals, including humans and cats.**

Training Supplies
I also sell other training supplies as listed below:
- Training Packages: Includes a clicker (choose color below) and a training handbook full of enough information to get you obedience training your dog yourself! I will ship these anywhere in the U.S.
$10, including shipping. - Training Clickers: These training aids can help speed up any kind of training. The clicking sound is a marker for the dog which is always followed by a reward, usually food. The dog learns that the click means he just earned a reward. Because the sound is quick a snappy, it can catch very short instances of good behavior and reward them, thus increasing their likelihood of occurring again. This can be helpful when training obedience behaviors as well as training dogs out of problem behaviors such as barking or jumping up. The clickers I sell are i-clickers which, unlike ordinary box clickers, are quieter and more comfortable to hold and use. Clickers come in four colors: Red, Blue, Green, and Black. Note: Black and Green are currently out of stock.
$3 each, will not ship. - Targeting Sticks: These training aids are used when teaching a dog to "target." This exercise involves rewarding the dog for touching the end of the stick with his nose or, sometimes, his paw. Once a dog learns to target, you can teach him to follow the stick anywhere, a behavior which is especially helpful when teaching loose leash walking/heeling or when trying to get your dog into a sit or down.
$3 each, will not ship. - Cat Toys: Indoor cats are often understimulated and underexercised. Get your cat back into action using these fun, homemade feather toys. Quality guaranteed.
$3 each, will not ship.
