Day Training
Day training is a unique way of getting a well-trained dog. Although it is done in your home, it differs from my private training:
- I will train your dog for you rather than teach you to train your dog.
- I will come to your home about 3 times a week for about 3 weeks to train your dog.
- At the end of each week, I will instruct you on how to maintain the training and I will help your dog to perform the trained behaviors for you.
This is the perfect option for people who do not have the time to obedience train their dogs but would enjoy having a well-mannered pet. Certain problem behaviors which include constant management, such as housetraining, will not be trained using the day training method. Aside from loose-leash walking sessions, my sessions do not include exercising your dog. Please be aware that this is still your responsibility. Although day training usually takes about 3 weeks, the amount of time varies by dog. Payment is required at the beginning of each week.
Please contact me for details about this training option, as it may not be the best option for you and your pet's situation. In addition, I will be unavailable for day training between late August and January.
